I moved to the UK from a small town in south-western Hungary, young, ambitious, and with absolutely no safety net (still young, just with better spreadsheets now).
Like many expats, I started where most people do: hotels, coffee shops, cleaning jobs. Long hours. No shortcuts.
Over time I found my feet, and my second family, in the laundry and dry-cleaning industry, where I spent more than 12 years learning the operational side of running real businesses: systems, logistics, customer service, and the behind-the-scenes work most people never see. I started on the production floor and finished as managing director.
That experience became the foundation for everything I do today in short-term rentals and property.
Then 2024 happened. A fire destroyed the main factory we relied on. One moment everything felt stable, the next, everything changed. It was one of those life moments that forces clarity very fast.
We rebuilt. But more importantly, it taught me two lessons I’ll carry for life: nothing meaningful is built alone, the team around you is everything. And, as the old saying goes, never put all your eggs in one basket.
That was the moment my interest in property turned into a mission.
Today, the part I love most is taking tired, neglected houses and turning them into beautiful, profitable short-term homes that guests genuinely enjoy staying in. Creating something from nothing will never stop exciting me. And laundry never fully left my life either: linen, cleanliness, presentation, I know these things like the back of my hand. In hosting they matter more than anything.

When I first started with Airbnbs, I asked myself one simple question: what actually makes a great stay?
After travelling to over 60 countries and almost every continent (Antarctica, I’m coming for you), I had a pretty good advantage. I knew exactly what seasoned travellers notice: comfort, flow, cleanliness, and the little details most hosts miss. That guest perspective shapes everything I do.
From there, I did what I always do. I researched. A lot. Suppliers, systems, automation, setup processes, pricing, turnovers, guest communication, scaling. And yes, AI too.
Everything I build is built around simplicity, repeatability and real-world use. No fluff. No overwhelm. Just systems you can actually run, even if you’re busy, new, or doing this alongside life. And the honest truth: I’m still learning. Because we all are.
